The Village at Lexington Garden

Bennett Sullivan’s creative approach from concept through construction was responsible for this successful redevelopment project, turning a blighted property into a central, walkable commercial hub for the community that extended the historic New England character on this primary thoroughfare.

A bank-owned, vacant six-acre land parcel of commercial property, formerly a retail landscape nursery, was sitting dormant in the Borough of Newtown. Bennett Sullivan planned and designed a successful development for the site that is keeping with the historical streetscape. This project led to economic growth and an increased tax base for the town of Newtown as a direct result of the planning and architectural design provided by the firm.

Client Testimonial

“ To guide us through and to oversee the envisioned expansion, we established a Village District and selected Bennett Sullivan to be our architectural consultant. Their vision and extensive experience have had a profound effect on what we see today and on what we will have for future generations. The Village at Lexington Gardens is their most notable accomplishment. It set the standard for subsequent applications and stands as the center piece within the Village District of the Borough of Newtown. We owe a great deal of gratitude for their guidance and involvement in the recent growth that we have experienced.”
